Meaning
Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, man in today’s world has ill thoughts due to which he harms others emotionally or even physically, but one who has God in his mind, remains one with God. Man, though in human frame, behave like beasts. He is always busy tricking others day and night, like devils. His outer appearance may look pure and white, but his mind is full of dirty thoughts. And this duality of character does not remain concealed in spite of all efforts. He who appears to be a recluse, but inwardly he is full of lust, how can such people cross the ocean of materialism with a stone hanging by their neck ? In simple words, how can they achieve salvation if they keep doing bad deeds. The greedy dog dwells in the mind and it keeps on barking and troubling. Their greed for material possessions, forces them to put others into troubles. Those who have God's name on their lips, but dagger under the arm are no less than devils. That person in whose mind God dwells, truly speaking, he is united with God.
